Help Lowcountry Families Recover and Rebuild After Disaster

When disaster strikes, the road to recovery can be long. Families across Beaufort, Jasper, and Hampton counties are working to rebuild their homes, restore stability, and regain a sense of normalcy — and your support helps make that possible.

The Lowcountry Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) — a partnership led by United Way of the Lowcountry and the American Red Cross — brings together nonprofits, faith communities, and local agencies to help residents recover from disasters like Hurricane Helene and prepare for future storms.

Your donation supports coordinated recovery efforts, including:
Home Repairs & Rebuilding — Helping families make essential repairs and return home safely.
Basic Needs Assistance — Providing access to food, shelter, and clothing during the long recovery process.
Community Connections — Linking survivors to local resources, case management, and long-term support.

Together, we can help our neighbors not only recover from disaster — but emerge stronger and more resilient.

Give today to support disaster recovery and preparedness across the Lowcountry.
